Joel is an Associate at the firm. He previously coordinated a Uganda national program, “Strengthening the Capacity for Local Courts” as a Consultant and Program Coordinator at the International law Institute (African Centre for Legal Excellence).
Joel also worked as graduate lawyer in the Department of Legal and Legislative Services of the Parliament of the Republic of Uganda and with two of the leading commercial law firms in Uganda. He has published in the local and regional media on economics and international law.
During his undergraduate studies, Joel received many honors and awards for his participation in different international moot competitions.
He is interested in the arts and in his spare time enjoys poetry. He is currently pursuing his post graduate studies at the University of Oxford.
